An invaluable source of confidence, dedication and support to teammates on the football field, O’Neil Blake has also served as an inspiration in the classroom, building a successful academic career that includes the receipt of a B.A. in Sociology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lenoir-Rhyne University.

A successful MBA grad, Blake understands the value such a degree can hold for the aspiring professional. Such benefits include:

Enhanced Career Potential

Those with MBAs tend to have a bit more fluidity when it comes to career, as such a degree has application in a variety of fields, business and otherwise. MBAs open doors of opportunity not typically available to undergraduates, providing a level of career flexibility and mobility that can serve the graduate well no matter the path or paths they choose.

Higher Salaries

On average, those with MBAs garner considerably higher initial salaries than those with Bachelor degrees. Not only do starting salaries tend to be a bit higher for those with MBAs, but career-long salary averages tend to be on a higher plane as well.

O’Neil Blake, a notable football player, coach and scholar, graduated Lenoir-Rhyne’s Master’s program in 2016, earning an accumulated 3.6 GPA during his graduate-level tenure. He was honored to have earned a spot in the Alpha Kappa Delta Honors Society and the Alpha Phi Sigma Honors Society, respectively.
